HGV Class 1 Driver — Walking Floor (Tramping) | Glasgow

Pay: £15.50–£16.00 per hour (DOE)

The role

UK-wide tramping from the Glasgow area using a walking-floor trailer to move bulk loads. The trailer’s powered floor unloads material safely and in a controlled way.

What you’ll do

Collect bulk loads, transfer stations and customer locations.

Operate walking-floor controls, sheet loads, and sweep out when required.

Complete daily vehicle checks, tacho/WTD compliance and basic paperwork.

Plan nights out, fuel and parking; keep unit and trailer tidy.

Must have UK

Class 1 (C+E), Driver CPC and digital tacho card.

Minimum 1 year recent Class 1 driving experience.

Confident with Monday–Friday tramping and nights out.

Nice to have

Bulk or walking-floor experience. If not, full training is provided.

HGV Class 1 Driver — Vacuum Tanker | Paisley
Pay: £16.00 per hour

The role

Dayshift Class 1 work operating a vacuum tanker around the Paisley/Greater Glasgow area. You’ll collect and transport liquid waste to approved facilities and support site clearances where required. This is hands-on driving with safe set-up, hose work and basic paperwork.

What you’ll do

Drive a C+E vacuum tanker to customer and disposal sites.

Set up safe working areas, connect hoses, operate PTO/vacuum equipment and monitor tank levels.

Load, transfer and discharge liquid waste under site instructions.

Complete vehicle checks, job sheets/consignment notes and follow WTD/tacho rules.

Keep the unit clean and report defects promptly.

Must have

UK Class 1, Driver CPC and digital tacho card.

Minimum 6 months recent Class 1 experience.

Vacuum tanker experience.

Multi-drop, kerbside palletised deliveries across Glasgow and the Central Belt using tail-lift and pump truck. Paperwork/PODs and basic vehicle checks included.

Duties

Load, deliver and kerbside drop pallets safely.

Operate tail-lift and pump truck.

Complete PODs and daily walk-around checks.

Must have

UK Class 2 (Cat C), Driver CPC and digital tacho card .

New-pass drivers accepted

Comfortable with manual handling

Multi-drop, kerbside pallet deliveries across Glasgow/Central Belt using tail-lift and pump truck, with handballing.

Duties

Load, deliver and kerbside drop pallets safely.

Manual handling/handballing as required.

Complete PODs and daily walk-around checks.

New-pass drivers accepted.

Fit for manual handling and early starts.

HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver | Glasgow

The role

Class 2 tipper work across Glasgow and the Central Belt. You’ll move aggregates and spoil between sites, manage safe loading, operate sheets, and complete weighbridge tickets and basic paperwork.

Duties

Drive Class 2 tipper to sites, quarries and treatment facilities

Check tailgate, sheet loads, and follow site instructions.

Daily walk-around checks and tacho/WTD compliance.

Plan nights out when tramping is required.

Must have

UK Class 2 (Cat C), Driver CPC and digital tacho card.

Minimum 6 months Class 2 tipper experience.

Comfortable with manual handling and occasional nights out.
